Adding Rooms & Occupancy
Add rooms to a trip and set occupancy limits for each room.
Rooms are the building blocks of a trip — each one holds a door sensor, an occupancy limit, and the students staying in it. Set them up before importing students or ordering hardware.
Only the trip owner or a planner can edit rooms.
Open the Rooms Tab
Go to Trips, open the trip, and select the Rooms tab. It shows the trip’s current Total Rooms and Total Occupancy.
Select Edit Rooms
Select Edit Rooms to open the room editor.
Set the Number of Rooms
Enter the Number of Rooms for the trip. A card appears for each room.
Name Each Room and Set Occupancy
For each room, set Occupancy (how many students can stay in it) and an optional Room Name (e.g. the actual hotel room number, like “101”). Rooms without a name default to “Room 1”, “Room 2”, and so on. Use the trash icon on a room card to remove that room.

Save
Select Save Rooms. Cancel discards your changes and reverts to the last saved room list.
Once a trip’s invoice is paid or a purchase order is submitted, the number of rooms is locked, since it determines how much hardware and monitoring the trip was billed for. You can still rename rooms and change occupancy.
